Careers at Tyne Rope Access

We don't have any vacancies open right now, but we're always glad to hear from qualified, safety-conscious rope access technicians. If you're IRATA-certified (or working toward it) and think you'd be a good fit for the team, send your CV to jobs@tyneropeaccess.com - we read every one, even when we're not actively hiring.

Why Join Us

  • Modern kit and well-maintained ropes/harnesses, replaced on a proper inspection cycle
  • Real variety of work - painting, cladding, bird control, confined space, and window cleaning across the UK and Ireland
  • A genuine path to progress through IRATA levels, working alongside supervisors holding Level 3 IRATA, SMSTS, and IOSH qualifications
  • Safety-first culture - every job runs on a proper RAMS, no cutting corners

What We Look For

  • IRATA certification (Level 1 or above) is a strong plus, but a genuine safety-conscious attitude and willingness to learn matter just as much
  • Comfortable working at height, in varied UK weather, and travelling to site as needed
  • A team-player mindset - most jobs are worked in pairs or small crews

Equal opportunities and access

We select on ability, experience and attitude to safety, and we welcome applications from everyone, regardless of age, disability, gender, race, religion or belief, sexual orientation or any other protected characteristic. If you'd like to talk rather than write, or you need any adjustment to how we speak to you or how you'd work with us, just tell us on 0191 447 1788 and we'll work out what's practical. We ask about what's needed to do the role safely, not for a general health history. Our approach is set out in our Equality, Diversity and Inclusion Policy (PDF).
